Paris destination wedding – An Elegant Paris Destination Wedding at Cathedrale Armenienne Saint Jean-Baptiste and Le Marois Hôtel

Some love stories remain forever tied to a place. For Ani and Guirgis, that place is Paris.

They first met there during a UCLA study abroad program, when a walk along the Seine with wine and baguette in hand turned into a night of conversation, flirtation, and the beginning of something unforgettable. Their connection stayed with them long after that summer, and after a proposal beneath a fig tree at UCLA and a civil ceremony in New York City, they returned to Paris to celebrate with family and friends.

Their Paris destination wedding began with a meaningful ceremony at Cathedrale Armenienne Saint Jean-Baptiste de Paris, a place that held special significance for the bride ever since she had unexpectedly discovered it years earlier during that same time in the city. Before the ceremony, Ani and Guirgis exchanged private vows in their 7th arrondissement apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower, adding an intimate and deeply personal beginning to the day.

Ani wore a Vera Wang gown with Manolo Blahnik Hangisi heels as her something blue, while Guirgis chose a sleek Paul Smith tuxedo. After the ceremony, guests made their way through the cobblestone streets of Paris to Le Marois Hôtel, where the celebration continued in a setting full of history, elegance, and candlelit romance.

At Le Marois Hôtel, the evening unfolded with heartfelt toasts, a first dance to La Vie en Rose, and an unforgettable surprise performance by the bride’s grandfather on alto saxophone. Elegant, personal, and deeply rooted in place, this Paris destination wedding was a beautiful return to the city where their story first began.
